The Tamil Department has been committed to educating students with sincerity and dedication. It offers well-structured courses in Basic Tamil, Advanced Tamil, and General Tamil, all taught to a high standard. The department strives to enhance students’ academic performance, imbibe creativity, and equip them to achieve success in their chosen careers.

Vision

Named after Quaide Milleth, who championed the unique status of the Tamil language in the Indian Constitution, the Tamil Department is dedicated to inspiring students to uphold and promote their linguistic heritage.

Mission

To extend our traditional language beyond the syllabus, students are encouraged to join various competitions to enhance their creativity and emerge as confident, well-rounded citizens of tomorrow.

 Objectives:

★        Inculcate  interest in Tamil language and literature among the Students .

★        Students will be able to express their creativity through written and oral forms of communication.

★        Through workshops and competitions, the department encourages active participation among students and cultural pride.

★        Each class is thoughtfully designed to deepen students’ understanding and appreciation of Tamil.
