Established in 1975, the Department of English is one of the pioneering departments of our institution. With a curriculum aligned to the University of Madras, the department offers an in-depth study of language and literature. Special focus is given to guiding students from vernacular backgrounds, helping them build confidence and proficiency in English communication through structured academic support and literary engagement.
