About the Department:

The B.Sc. Visual Communication launched in 2019  explores the creation, delivery, and impact of messages across various formats—oral, written, visual,
mediated, and technological. This interdisciplinary course is designed to help students understand how communication functions among individuals, groups, and broader society.

Vision:

To empower students with creative, technical, and critical thinking skills in the field of visual media, ethical storytelling, and cultural sensitivity, while preparing them to become dynamic professionals and socially responsible communicators in a rapidly evolving media landscape.

Mission:

The department is committed to cultivating ethical communicators and visual storytellers who contribute meaningfully to the evolving media landscape.

Objetive:

 To equip students with foundational and advanced knowledge in visual media, including photography, film making, graphic design, animation, and digital communication.

 To cultivate creative thinking, technical proficiency, and aesthetic sensibility, enabling students to produce compelling and socially relevant visual content.

       To encourage the use of alternative media platforms for advocacy, education, and positive societal transformation.

       To prepare students for diverse career paths in media, including journalism, advertising, film, television,
digital media, and academia.
