About Sports
The Department of Physical Education is committed to the development of students by nurturing their physical fitness, competitive spirit, and sportsmanship through structured training and participation in a wide range of sports activities. Our department offers extensive opportunities for both men and women to engage in sports and fitness programmes that are designed to enhance their physical well-being and competitive capabilities.
Sports and Games Offered:
For Men:
Cricket, Badminton, Ball Badminton, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Football, Chess, and Athletics.
For Women:
Badminton, Ball Badminton, Kho-Kho, Chess, and Athletics.
Training and Practice Sessions:
Recognizing the importance of regular training, the department conducts intensive practice sessions every day:
- Morning : 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM
- Afternoon : 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM
- Evening : 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
These sessions are meticulously planned and supervised by experienced coaches to ensure skill development and peak performance among students.
Facilities:
- Excellent ground facilities for all major outdoor games.
- Turf wickets, astro turf wickets, and matting wickets are provided for cricket training, available to both boys and girls.
- A modern, well-equipped Hydraulic Multi-Gym functions as a fitness centre, supporting students in maintaining optimal physical condition.

- District-level Tournaments
- State-level Tournaments
- Other recognized sports tournaments by various colleges
The consistent support from the management in terms of infrastructure and encouragement has enabled our athletes to compete at higher levels and bring laurels to the institution.
